A registered mail is a form of patent protection for little guys who can’t afford a patent. They’re upheld in a court of law. The Internet Archive records the websites and does a service just like this. This makes it so these words are time stamped as well. This is about a 1.5 billion dollar idea. I’ve had many ideas of this, multimillion/billion before. This is not uncommon, but I’m going to seek my rights for compensation this time. Without further adieu:
Outline:
People love gimmicks. Pennsylvanians especially. If we threw some apple bins out behind the homerun line, and a baseball or golf ball fell in them, we could reward people in the stands and at home or using apps with the sponsor’s free gifts.
By having it so rewards happen when a batter gets a home run that lands in an apple bin or any bin, people find the game more exciting. Most advertising detracts from the game, this makes it more fun.
Allow people with an app or at the stadium with a playing card to pick off which bins they want. It could be a form of bingo with different combinations rewarding big prizes. It could allow the same bin hit many times to have multipliers.
There is limited space behind the home run wall, so advertisers would bid their best rewards and prizes.
With fanduel and other gambling apps in play, this is child’s play and completely innocent in relation.
Lights maybe fireworks, bonzanzas specifically tailored by the advertisers will go off so a different celebration and music happens for each advertisement bin hit in a homerun. This adds to variety and excitement and brand recognition.
I’m estimating about 200-300 million dollars a year gain for the team that buys this, and you could franchise it to other teams and take a cut of 20 million per team that uses the idea. In an age where Baseball teams do not have a collective bargaining agreement, more money helps you win championships. I’ll offer this to the Pirates first, because I’m a fan of our home team and Andrew McCutchen has always been my favorite player even after he left the Pirates for a while.
I’m standing firm on a 10% stake in revenue before disbursements, taxes, fees, etc. I think I’ll call the Pirates tomorrow and see.
Again this is a valid form of patent, due to the Internet Archives able to seal it.
