Capital Ships in Starfighter General are of three tiers. All of these tiers are hard to obtain. The first tier is Slow Lumbering anti Capital Ship/zoning ships. They’re only going to damage starfighter class ships if they’re not paying attention… which happens often in a battle. So tier 1, hard to destroy capital ships will bring impact to starfighter skirmishes. Higher tier capital ships have more anti starfighter weapons in addition to more power.
Players can enjoy the grind to get capital ships and even pilot them, and in future expansions maybe run an indoor bridge and ship exploration experience.

Fires giant visible shells. Strong, harder to dodge and damage had
to be significant because of physical attack of being hit by a bullet truck. Probably destroys your ship instantly, but if you do survive, you’ll be knocked back and tossed around.

Fires very very easy to dodge homing missiles, but they have a long lifetime, so up to 5-7 can be at you if you’re close to the ship. Also fires static missiles at certain cannon locations.
[T2 VandeGuardian]
Tractor beams can focus individual ships and cause them to have troubles doing evasionary tactics while medium grade plasma turrets pulse fire in their direction.
[T2 Carrier Horize]
Has a type of ultra thin tinfoil class interceptors that replenish during battle. The design of the interceptors allows minimal construction materials that still will carry an impactful weapon payload.
